✓ Ascophyllum nodosum seaweed extract is rich with vegetal hormones. It contains a large number of natural hormones: cytokinins, auxins, gibberellins, betaine. Auxins and cytokinins regulate cell division and growth, which underlies growth and morphogenesis processes. Betaine stimulates synthesis of chlorophyll, enhances ability of the root system to absorb water, increases resistance to stress factors.
✓ Alginic acid helps to retain moisture in the roots: alginic acid chains absorb water, keeping it for the roots, thereby reducing possible stress due to lack of moisture. It also forms insoluble compounds with calcium and sodium in the soil, which have a beneficial effect on soil structure and soil reaction and promote better water circulation.
